Description

"The Majestic Kid - Alter Ego" featured in thetheatregalley is a gift from artist Rebecca Courtney. She "loved studying both the 1920s cowboy heroes and the crazy 70s" and painted the acrylic piece specifically for the production in the spring, then, decided to donate it for auction to help offset No Strings Theatre Company expenses during the COVID19 epidemic.

Rebecca sees Mark as a dreamer who is the Alter Ego in the play. She chose a caricature more Tom Mix than the more flashy Roy Rogers. The portrayal is of a day dreamer, "smirking about the joke of it all."
