Dancing in the Desert

Jul 14-Jul 15, 2018

SAT JULY 14 | 8:00 PM
SUN JULY 15 | 2:30 PM

Mesilla Valley Dance Collective from Las Cruces and Human Nature Contemporary Ballet from El Paso are bringing a creative and collaborative dance showcase to the Black Box Theater on July 14th and 15th, 2018. These dance companies have brought pieces from past and future shows along with guests from El Paso, Las Cruces, and the surrounding area.
The idea for this show was originally started by Black Box Theater owner Ceil Herman who wanted to have more dance performances in her theater. It allows companies like Mesilla Valley Dance Collective and Human Nature Contemporary ballet to showcase pieces from previous shows that have not been seen in many years. It will also preview of a piece from the upcoming Mesilla Valley Dance Collective show in February choreographed by Janessa Player.
This show has been collaboratively created and choreographed by the Mesilla Valley Dance Collective and Human Nature members.
